¶ Setting up the OTTplayer.
We do not recommend this player, so we do not provide instructions for it. Look for instructions on the internet, there are plenty of them regarding its setup.
Reasons why we do not recommend this player:
- it's a competitor's player, you upload your playlist to their site - there have been multiple instances of your playlists being used by third parties;
- because of this, you may encounter problems with viewing, if third-party users connect to your playlist, your viewing will be disabled, first it will be 10-minute bans, token changes, packet stops, then account deletion comes;
- any changes in playlists (server change, token, added channels), you have to download the playlist from your personal account, delete the previous playlist created on their site, create a new one, and put the downloaded playlist there;
- this player has its own EPG, they do not cooperate with us, because of this there are problems with EPG and archives on many channels.
If the reasons named convinced you to give up using this player, then before setting up a new player be sure to change the password of your personal account and your token.
But if they didn't convince you, then look more often in the viewing log in your personal account. This way you can stop the use of your playlist by strangers earlier. The playlist for this player is HLS.
Many believe that we are wrong when we write that using OTTplayer your playlists leak into open access. Well, look at the screenshot from one of the playlist dumps and draw conclusions.
If anyone thinks that it is not possible to find OTTplayer accounts, they are deeply mistaken.
