When any changes are made to the playlist - server switch, channel deletion or addition - it needs to be updated on your devices.
Wait a minute for the changes to activate, then your next steps depend on how the playlist is registered in the player:
- If the playlist is registered with a link (address) and if the player settings specify to "update the playlist when the player starts", then simply restart the player;
with other playlist settings in the player, press the "update playlist" button;
- if the playlist is registered with a file, then download the new playlist file and replace the one in the player, then press the Update playlist button;
- Cloud players, such as ott-play (FOSS and DRM), update the playlist by restarting the player, but sometimes this does not work (in case you make changes to the channel list in the player), then in the player you need to delete all channel categories, except for the All category (which you won't be able to delete) and restart the player;
- We do not recommend using the OTT Pleer player and therefore we do not have any hints or instructions for it; reasons why we do not recommend it are covered in the instructions.
